My Latest Meijer Trip

Had a pretty successful trip today...even with all the hustle and bustle of busy shoppers preparing for the Super Bowl!

First I have to highlight my favorite purchase of the day at Walgreen's:

I saw a commercial for them this morning, and then found a buy 1 get 1 free coupon in one of the inserts. THEN I found them on sale at Walgreen's for $1 each! So I basically paid $1 for two bags. Now, judging by the picture, and the fact that the bag says "King Size", you will probably be dissapointed by the actual size of the bag when you see them. And the fact that there is 50% dv of saturated fat in the little bag. But I was easily able to eat half, and stash the rest in my pantry for tomorrow. And might I add, I was very very very happy with the taste!

Now onto the Meijer highlights:

-used two $1 off catalinas I have received at previous shopping trips
-also, I got two NEW catalinas with this purchase, one for $1 off 1 and one for $1.50 off 3:)

Garden Fresh Tortilla Chips-buy 1 get 1 free sale
-used $1/2 mperks coupon, these are very very very rare to find coupons for so I was happy to find it
Final Price: $2.99 for 2 bags

Chi Chi's Salsa-$.99 sale
-used $.50 off 1 in the 1/16 Smart Source
 Final Price: $.49 ea

Ritz Crackers-$2 sale
-used $1/2  from the 1/30 Smart Source
-also used the $1 off any Kraft Cheese when you buy 2 Nabisco Crackers from mperks
Final Price: $3 for 2 boxes

Rubbermaid Containers-$1.70 reg. price
-used $1 off coupon from the 1/2 Smart Source
Final Price: $.70

Suave Professionals Shampoo & Conditioner-$1.67 sale
-used $1/2 from the 1/30 Red Plum
Final Price: $2.34 for 2 bottles

I also used a $5 off a purchase of $45 or more that was in my mperks account. It pays to check for new coupons every few days, this one expired tomorrow so I would have wasted it if I hadn't checked!

My total before coupons: $65

Total after coupons: $40.21
